QC · the photo is evidence, not a certificate

QC Kakobuy: read the photo before you approve the parcel.

A product photo sells. A QC photo reports. The difference matters: one is designed to look good, the other is supposed to show what arrived.

Product images on this page are listing photos from the partner, clearly labelled. They are not presented as warehouse QC photos.

Three frames

What the three angles can and cannot show

Listing photo of a Hellstar hoodie — not a QC photo

Listing photo of a Jordan 5 — not a QC photo
What QC addsTag, stitching, hardware, measurements.
What it cannot proveMaterial, origin, durability or authorization.

The first two images are listing photos used to show what a QC request should cover. They are not warehouse QC images.

The six checks

Work through these in order

1. Tag and size

Does the size tag match the order? Is the tag legible? A missing tag is a question; a wrong tag is a red flag.

2. Stitching and seams

Look at the collar, cuffs, hem and any load-bearing seam. Loose thread is cosmetic; a split seam is structural.

3. Print and color

Check alignment, cracking and color shift against the listing. A slight screen difference is normal; a clearly different graphic is not.

4. Hardware

Zippers should run, buttons should fasten, buckles should close. Ask for a short video if a zipper is the issue.

5. Measurements

Ask for a flat measurement: chest, length, waist or insole. Compare it with the listing table, not with your body.

6. Packaging and accessories

Dust bags, extra laces, box condition. If the accessory is part of the value, it must be in the photo.

Decide

Green, amber, red

Green — ship it

  • Tag, stitching and hardware match the listing.
  • Measurements are within about 1 cm.
  • No defect that affects wear.

Amber — ask first

  • One visible flaw: glue, loose thread, slight color shift.
  • Measurements 2–3 cm off.
  • Ask for a second photo before you approve.

Red — reject

  • Wrong size or color.
  • Broken zipper or missing accessory.
  • A stain that will not come out.
  • Ask for a return while it is still in the warehouse.

Copy this

The three angles to ask for

“Please send a front and back photo, a close-up of the size tag, and a flat measurement of the chest and length. If there is a print, please show it straight on.”

Short, specific, and easy for an agent to answer. Vague requests get vague photos.

Questions

Five questions about QC

What is a QC photo?

A photo taken in the warehouse after the item arrives, usually showing the item, tags, stitching, hardware and sometimes a measurement. It is evidence of condition, not a certificate of origin.

How many photos should I expect?

It depends on the item and the agent. A garment may get front, back, tag and a flat measurement; a shoe may get both sides, the toe box, the size tag and the outsole. Ask for the angles you need.

What does GL / RL mean?

Green light means approve and ship; red light means reject and ask for a return or exchange. They are community shorthand, not platform guarantees.

Can QC prove an item is authentic?

No. It can show condition, measurements and visible defects. It cannot prove materials, origin or authorization.

What if the QC photo is blurry?

Ask for a retake before you approve. A blurry photo is not evidence; it is a delay you can still fix.

Check before you approve

The warehouse is the last place a return is cheap. Open the partner QC page and read the photos.
